Need help. I have a 1994 750 that someone put skidoo suspension under but motor seems stock, engine starts and runs great but if you are moving along and gas it seems it boggs down. I originally thought clutch was not back shifting but noticed while pulling a moutain wide open at about 30mph it will surge. On flats or down hill much better, and from dead stop to like 70 mph does good then just won't do anymore. Any ideas where to start, plugs all look good. Any help would be great love the sound of these dynasaours.

Welcome to the site! :schild27::schild27::schild27:

Could be several things. When was the fuel filter in the tank changed and the gas lines checked for cracks? How long since the carbs have been cleaned? You can find a step-by-step how to in the Tech Pages: http://www.vmax4.com/showthread.php?7036-Carb-Cleaning&p=114016#post114016 Check the air boxes for the infamous white tabs. It could be that one is broken off and stuck in a carb, or something else stuck in there. Look here: http://www.vmax4.com/showthread.php?11604-White-Tabs-Watch-out!!&highlight=white+tabs If the suspension is not stock, is it in good shape? Bogie wheels spin freely? Track tension too tight? Something binding?

You can download the service manual from the General Questions Forum.

Let us know what you find out and we can go from there.

I always lube them and checked arms and rollers all seemed good. Also changed spring setting in secondary. Was leaning towards clutching till I noticed the surging under load, when it does that it will jump 10 mph (track spin of course) But then will go right back down.

No I've been lucky enough this year to ride. Last year machine never came out. So was gonna wait till spring but do to riding a lot this year am pretty secure catburation is the issue. Like I said from dead start its wicked till about 70 then that it.
