fiber bushing

on my 93 is there a trick or an easy way to remove and reinstall the big fiber bushing in my secondary any advice or help would be great thanks-peter

Are you installing a new one? or are you reinstalling the old one? On mine,I used a die grinder and made a notch in it and then just hit it out.If for some reason you are reinstalling the old one,use a long punch in from the small bushing end and take your time going around it evenly.

it will be a new one. I will try to press it in I guess the problem will be finding something big enough to match the size of the fiber bushing itself. maybe a piece of wood , just looking for ideas. thanks- peter

You may already have it done but if not I used a press and a piece of steel plate.
