Was this for the 92, or the 93-94? The 1992 -42-37 helix has a casting mark of 8AX 38,and is punch marked with the letter A.
If it is a 1993-94 helix the casting mark is 8AX 38 with the punch mark R, which means it is the 42-37 helix. The punch marks are the key to these things.
A true 38 helix will have a cast mark of 8AX 38 with no punch mark.
