88 Exciter part needed

I need a good used knuckle(bracket) that is mounted to the bottom of the LEFT front shock and holds the ski on. It is either part # 84M-2376E-00-00 or 84M-2377E-00-00. I'm unsure of which part # is left or right.

It looks like all Exciters (88-93) have the same part #'s. 87 is the only one that is different.

Please help asap as the kids want to ride.... Thanks..Scott
 

I may have one off a 91. I'm at work now :4fzfia: and will check when I get home. I know there are two different style though. One was a stepped down strut (smaller diameter) and the other the strut was the same diameter all the way to the bottom.
 
Patrick, thanks for the call. I will keep trying to find a left one.
Fleetman, thanks for the help also. The shock/strut looks to be the same size from where it comes out of the collar all the way to where it mounts to the bracket that I need.

After speaking with Overdrive75 I'm wondering if I can make a right one work on the left?
 
Found part at Cedar Cycle in Cedar Springs, MI. Very pricey though($85 for used one out of a 95 vmax that I had to modify) and I would NOT RECOMMEND THEM to anyone. Mike in parts lied and told me that the price for a new one was $165 and he charged roughly half. I told him the part was $135 new retail and he basically said take it or leave it. STEER CLEAR OF CEDAR CYCLE!

Mike is as friendly as a rock. When I told him that I rebuild sleds all the time and need to get decent prices on parts to become a repeat customer he didn't seem to care. It shouldn't have suprised me as the customer before me had an arguement with him about price and ended up walking out to purchase his parts elsewhere.

FYI for you Michigan guys....
