93 suspension upgrade

I have read articles about upgrades and drill jigs I think I am leaning toward a 96 xt but how do I find specs on drilling tunnel for this?Also are there some better options that are reasonable priced?
 
I upgraded my 94 600 with a fast m10 and i love it. you can find some on ebay for a good price and you can buy a mounting kit for them
 
I have heard that the 96 xt is getting hard to get parts for. Seems a lot of guys have used an rx-1 skid as it is set up for a heavy sled and is tough. Tech section shows how.
