95 vmax 800 piston needed

Have a 95 vmax 800 with a bad piston. Does anybody have a used one laying around? Thanks

They are getting very hard to fine. Even used. Guys who do have extra don't want to get rid of them either. Keep looking/asking here and other Yamaha sites. Eventually you will find one.

How bad is yours? Sometimes they can be cleaned up and sanded to work just fine it scoring is light.

Mine has a hole in it about the size of a pencil eraser. Looked like the previous owner didnt clean the carbs.

Did you try Hauck powersports? They were carrying Wiseco replacements if you cant get used.

I didn't know if I should mix one aftermarket piston with three oem ones.

I wouldn't mix them and OEM would be a better choice than Wiseco in my opinion. Rings are still available. I would grab that piston from fast 440.

I cant speak for mixing pistons, Wiseco would have a different thermal expansion then stock so longer warm ups for sure there are smarter guys then me on here for this might chime in.
