Need a strut

Guys, I need a strut for a 96 vmax4 and I am not sure what all years will work on it. I am assuming that only a vmax4 strut will work, I think I read on here that the 5 and 600 vmaxs were smaller in diameter. Any help would be appreciated.
 

Yes you would need a Vmax-4 strut and unless you replace both I suggest matching the one you have, it should be stamped 8BU on the bottom. Do you need just the strut tube or the upper can that holds the spring. I probably have what you need as long as you are in the USA, sorry no Canadian shipments - too much of a pain in the a$$.
