New Turbo Setup

I have a stock 95 vmax4 800 with 1500 miles on it and just recently added aerodyne turbo.

What is a good turbo setup to get me going for this machine: reeds,gear,clutching,pistons,ignition timing etc..... The sled will be mostly used on the ice with an occasional trail here and there. Also what kind of boost should i be running on 93 octane.

You should chat with Justin, AKA Quadzilla, he is the expert on the turbo setup. He has done extensive work on developing an apparently great system on his own sled. I believe the latest issue he fixed was the reed valves that kept breaking under the strain put on them do to the boost. He will make you a set out of stainless steel that are holding up in his machine and he was pushing 36 psi on his latest tests. Hopefully he will report back this weekend with a new record for 1000 foot. He is hoping to break 170 mph. He made some major leaps this year with hp and torque. I think he will break the 170 pretty easily if he can get the sled to hook up. Of course I canot recall if he ever posted his opinion on the specific turbo you have, but I'm sure he will let you know it's weak points and give you some pointers. He's offering to sell kits now, so I think he wants some company in the fast lane!
