Primary clutch

Interested in a primary clutch for a 96 or the sheaves only.

I might have one from a 96 XTC

To use a clutch from another sled other than a Vmax-4 you will have to remove some matierial on the back side of the stationary sheave to clear the bolts on the motor. The Vmax-4 stationary's were designed differently to clear them.

The stationary sheave is the only one you have to do anything with, otherwise they will bolt right on.

I compared the stock clutch off my 92 750 with the stock clutch(I think) off my vmax 600 and there was maybe .005 difference with them laying flat on a piece of steel. The only thing I really couldnt measure was the angle on the sheaves, I know that 92's were cut at 12.5 deg and 93-94 were 13 deg, I have no idea what a 500 or 600 are.
