While I have not done the conversion yet, I will be doing a late model RX1 Pro Action skid under mine this fall. Like in the next few weeks!!
I got lucky on mine as I got it off of the Totally Yamaha site where someone was upgrading his RX1 to the M10. Got it for $200 which I felt was good. :653:
Bid on a few skids on ebay last year but most of them got up there! Keep your eyes on ebay & go to the TY forum.Ya never know what you might find, but be ready to act. I missed a few good deals earlier last year so had to wait a bit to get the one I got.
Based on post's on this site, the conversion should be fairly easy with patience, time & clear thinking!!! Will let ya know.

Guys, head over to Snowest.com or DooTalk.com they have decent swap meet/buy&sell sections on their websites, that will perhaps be your best bet for inquiring about an SC-10 or other OEM suspension.
I upgraded mine with the SC-10 suspension and now the old Vmax just loves the rough stuff, the difference is phenomenally better over stock.
