I have a 1978 Bronco for sale for $1,200 and my neighbor has a 1995 Vmax 4 that he is willing to trade even up. I would post pics but can't figure out how. Advice on this is welcome.

Go For it!

Looks like a decent sled. The very first thing I look at is the bolts on the scissors and the suspension. If they are too rusty then you know the sled wasn't stored in a dry place. Original skis too. The rear suspension is also an upgrade on that sled. That is not the original suspension, so +++. Someone on this site will tell you what the suspension is, maybe an M10. I do not know much about the different suspensions. Below is a picture of a stock suspension.

If it runs well. I'd say it would be a good deal.

The Bronco looks pretty decent too, other than the couple rust spots.

Another 4 in the garage!

Done deal.

It's got a comet clutch and M-10 suspension and what looks like a after market track. Has 4664 miles on it. E-mailed dealership that the previous owner bought it from in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. They said they sold it to him used in January of 2006 and installed the M-10 on it. It had 3990 miles on it when they sold it to him. Dealer said sled was a local that traded it in. A couple of cracks in the hood, some nicks and scratches on the right panel, and a cracked windshield. First thing i did when i got it home was peel of checker stickers.

Now what to do to it?:muahaha:

.............get yourself a set of quad pipes!!!!!!!!!:muahaha: Let that baby howwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwl

Pipes & Clutching!!

Like Marksan said, get a nice set of quads for that Max & also tune the clutches.

These 2 items will put a huge smile on your face if ya get it dialed in right!!

These are awesome & dependable motors in these max4's.
And, there is NO OTHER sound out there like the sound of a set of quads when the throttle is hammered man!!

It looks like a nice sled & having the M-10 skid is a great plus!!

Have fun with it & there are plenty of great guys on this site that can guide you through any upgrades or tweeking ya want to do along with guys that will tell you what thier experiences have been with whatever mods you might consider.

I would really look at vmax4rules quads if I was you. They are getting harder & harder to find!!:cussing:

Good luck & enjoy the sled!!:653:
