wtb: 92-95 V-max 4 (New England)


There is a 93 v4 up here by me with a blown motor. Needs 1 rod, piston, and jug to get going. Guy thinks the crank is ok. He says sled is "mint", havent looked at it really good myself as its covered in snow. Got 7k miles or so with stock pipes. I think he wants alot of money for it, $800. Just shoot me a pm if interested in it.

I also know of a guy that has a 92 with like 5k looking for like 1500-1800 out of it. Its a local sled that my dad actualy knows almost all of the last few owners. Mainly adult owned and been sitting in the garage for a while. He was selling it a few weeks ago, dont know if he still has it.

I live in Palmyra, right next to newport so I might be able to get you some more info on the 93. The 92 is in the agusta area right now I belvie.

Whatever info you can find out about both would be appreciated. I'm working on a potential deal in N.H. right now, but not sure if it will pan out.
 
Allright, ill see if I can dig some more up on the 92. In my opinion that its the smarter investment as the 93 i dont know if there is anyother damage from the piston appearently breaking appart. For all I know the crank case has a whole punch in it and the crank is gone. The one other thing that I do know that kinda scared me was that he said it was a weisco piston that let go. I dont know if someone just rebuilt it or if someone put a big bore kit in it and beat the hell out of it. The guy that had the 93 when the motor blew, drove it home with it blown up. So who knows how much damage was really done to the sled.
