1979 Kawasaki Invader440

Ted

Vmax-4 Collector
Decided I would rather spend my summer working on my 93 750 than a kawasaki 440, even though it is a cool sled. After looking at it closer I beleive it would be a good parts sled or needed to be completely restored in order to ride. The compression was 125/135psi.It will start and run but the carbs need tuning. One of the rubber boots is cracked so very difficult to idle. The track looks good. The skis look good. The hood looks good, no cracks. The seat has one repair, looks melted but not through, has no rips. The odo says 1860 miles. The clutches worked properly while running with track off the ground. It does need a bearing on the secondary clutch. The shocks need rebuild. The bogie wheels need bearings. The belt looks good. all of the lights work properly. The kill switch and ignition switch work. Has newer fuel lines.

If none of you guys on the site are interested, do you know a site where I could part this out?

Any ideas how much it is worth?

You could try HCS(hardcore sledder), eBay, Craig's list.

At the end of summer you will be much happier w/ that 93 Vmax 4 all fixed up!

Yeah, I already have most of the parts I need to get it in top shape anyway, plus all the expert advice from this forum. Carl, do u still have that sway bar?
