1996 VMAX4 800 with 302 original miles

Thanks guys, I'm glad to finally join the owner's club of the VMax4's. Here's a few pics of what the sled looked like when I picked it up. I've got a few things that I'd like to change/improve on the sled. It's going to be something that I'll be chipping away at when time and funds allow.

She needs the black Vmax4 windy.....Other than that, nice sled. It would really make a nice mate to my 95 with 600 miles. ;)

I've picked up a black windy (Thank you Jamie) for the windshield. Lyle.....keep in touch. WTF RX1, a 95 with 600 miles? Since this thread has gone totally sideways, lets see some pics of your Badboy.

I found giving them a gentle squeeze with pliers or if your like me, teeth, to close the gap a little in the clips. They hold better and you are able to get more screws installed then curses uttered.

I sure wish that I knew about them little clips before I swapped out the windshield. Would'nt you know that I dropped two of them. Those little buggers can be hard to find, I had to dig out the flexible magnet to help find the little culprits.

You're the Boomer from TY, right? I offered this sled up to someone last year, and you PM'd me and asked about buying it.....When I said I wasn't really interested, you said you were going after a really low mile 96......;)

My bad RX1. You're right. Now I remember talking to you on TY through a few PM's. Must have been one of my "senior moments" when I didn't recognize your username here as the same as on TY. :beathead:

Since I couldn't pry yours from you I had to resort to plan B and pick up this one. It sounds like you made the right decision to hang on to yours, and I'm pretty happy to have picked up this one. :4fzfo8:

Those red ones are definitely nice lookin sleds too, they just have a completely different attitude than the black ones. I think you're missing the little Yamaha sticker on the nosecone too.....Now you should post the pics with the black windy, that changes the entire look of these sleds.
