I have twoo 1992 Vmax 4 750's for sale. Both sLeds are in Good condition with less than 5000 miles each. One of the sleds is all stock, except for silencer. This sled Has a completely rebuilt front and rear Suspension. I mean everything, brand new Ryde Fx Shocks in the rear. and every bushing bearing collar and wheels also. The front end has all new needle bearings. collars and bushings in the T.S.S arms and ski spindles. all this has less than 5 miles of riding on it. The aluminum skis are in Pretty good shape, I would say a 7.5 or 8 on a scale of 10. The hood and plastics all are in good Shape no cracks. The seat had been recovered by the previous owner but it is tearing along the seem right in front of the hump in the rear easy fix. Also this sled has a Hauck Chain not sure as to the gearing. Really this sled is in very nice condition I am only the second owner I actually have original reciept He paid like 7800.00 new. The only thing this sled needs is The two outside drivers on the drive shaft. They are a little chewed up and the handlebars are broken but i have extra brake levers Throttle blocks, kill switches and grips so all u need is a set of bars. also the sled has almost brand new track. The second sled has AD Boivin Expert suspension, All brand new wheels and bearings at the beginning of winter less than 500 miles. This sled also has brand new T.S.S everything in front. It has new plastic skis also this year with 7.5 carbide. sled has PSI Quads sounds sick!!! It has two cracks in Hood one right in front of Tank on left side of column and one from somebody letting the Hood slam down on strut tower. I would imagine because of design this is a common place for them to crack. Easy fix though. The seat cover is torn in bad shape in need of a covering. I also bought a brand new wind shield this winter but on the frigid day i put it on the shield somehow smacked the corner of the bar and broke a 3 inch piece of the shield off. Don't ever buy a sno stuff windshield piece of $&!%. functional still but not beautiful. Really this sleds are not far off from being really nice. I have done most of the hard work for u and yes i have reciepts for pretty much all of it. They just need a good cleaning and a few more small things and someone will have themselves at least mechanically pretty much new sleds. Also i have a decent amount of extras that come with these sleds. I have a extra hood, side panels etc. a extra seat , an extra primary clutch and secondarey. extra jackshaft. Fuel pumps, radiator, chain case, chain, gears. I also have an extra gearbox i believe it is also I pretty much have extra rear suspension minus the left rail because I had two replace it on the all stock Max when i went through the skid. also 3 good extra front struts plus extra spindles and T.s.s arms. I have extra computer and a bunch more odds and ends. I will go out and look to see exactly what extras i have but this is what i know off the top off my head. I also have 3 extra cylinders. One more thing the track on the sled with pipes is in pretty good condition also still has 80% life. In the few years i have had these sleds i have had no mechanical issues. I actually really like these snowmobiles and will prababley get another down the road, The motor is just to sweet not to lust over. I had planned on restoring these sleds and got a very significant start doing that but at this time these sleds just dont fit the budget and they really dont fit my style of riding. So here it is I need light i need suspension and the better half says if i want a new sled At least 1 of these has to go. So this is one of the hardest decisions i have had to make for the sake of practicality and the fact that i want a new sled and also the other fact she likes to ride and she only wieghs 112lbs, she just cant drive the beast . They gotta go. I would love two keep my sled with the pipes and make it new. But with the way things are now i cant justify owning more than two sleds. My loss your gain. 2800.00 or b/o for everything

"they really dont fit my style of riding"...

Well, the very powerfull vmax 4`s, are`nt for everyone...
I can completly understand someone wanting to get a grass hopper type sled to do jumps etc.....
But for me, the vmax4 is perfect!! I`ve broke both my legs in previous motorcycle accidents, so I`,m not much on taking to the air..although I have, and do get a little carried away on my vmax 4 from time to time..but anyway, I`m more into accelaration then anything..I will admit, the trails do get a little rough here and there..but i usually manage to do ok by standing up instead of setting down..which, I`ve recently discovered I can do that a little farther then i thought, and at a fairly good speed also..LOL

anyway, if its a rough ride in rough trails thing..why not throw a differant suspension in it? I`ve heard they can be made to ride pretty dang good with an upgraded suspention!!

I picked up an M-10 a while back, and was gonna install it..but i ended up deciding heck with it..I`d rather run the stock lower suspension, just did`nt want to loose any top end...and i also, decided i just did`nt like the look of the sled setting way up igh...yeah i know..I`m a strange one..but even though it does get a little rough out on my "local" trails..LOL..i still am happy with the stock suspension...especially when I hand a newer sled its azz!!..LOL

Hey Al, I guess i really shouldnt say the max doesnt fit my riding style its just that i myself am only a 150lbs and these sleds are the oldest i have owned and they are quite heavy. As i said this is one of the hardest decisions i have ever made as to selling these sleds because they are awesome sleds really. I just have to factor in all the variables. My girlfriend cant ride the second sled, I ride with my budies who all ride new sleds and let me tell u when the condition are favorable the v max is hard to get by but i do alot of crossover riding off trail on trail and as we all know the Max doesnt do great in the deep stuff. So here i need a least 1 new sled for my girl to ride, and that leaves me with a decision to make Like i said I love this sled. But as for my needs as of right now I just dont have the money for another sled and to be able to keep my Vmax. Mark my words i will own another of these sleds but it just doesnt excell in all of the aspects I need in a snowmobile for me. It is a great second sled to have just to pull out in perfect high traction conditions to blow some doors in on some new muscle. I mean really sometimes I forget this sled is 18 years old. But for me it just cant be the only sled I have. It just asks me to make to many comprimises in the real world conditions i ride in. Thanks Justin
