500hp turbo vmax for sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He probably has a 200hp supercharged 250 Bravo too. :blahblah1 :blahblah1

Think he has the dyno sheet to prove it??

Yes, he is full of it, LOL!

That particular sled was for sale on ebay last year with the aftermarket long travel skid and paddle track, it was built in Colorado. As you may notice, it has the Aerodyne Series 53 turbo 143N-300A turbo. That turbo was designed to efficiently produce 210 h.p. @ about 8.5 pounds of boost on any Vmax-4 sleds. If you vented off the pressure from the controller, it could possibly make 230 h.p. at around 12 pounds of boost but that would be over spinning the wheel and pre-heating aircharge into airboxes. Then boom! My guess would be that it isn't more than 200 h.p.

Just goes to show that you always need to be on the alert for B.S.!

Happy Halloween!

come on guy,s these sleds make 224 hp with out turbo as pat haucks does personly talked to pat mine has been dynoed at 210, if u read his set up he,s making 275 allso on this site earlier a vmax4 was advertised with that same turbo set up making 330 hp at 12 lbs boost

still got a long way to go from 330 to 500. not saying it cant be done, maybe a big bore stroker motor with twin turbo's and nitrous.

Not a chance that Turbo Vmax-4 is making 500, 300, or 250 h.p. That sled has an Aerodyne Series 53 Turbo 143N-300A. Max h.p. would be 230 h.p. if he overspins the compressor wheel @ 12 pounds of boost. Plus to get 230 h.p. everything must be just perfect. You can't compare the mods on a naturally aspirated Vmax-4 to a force inducted Vmax-4, (big bores, carbs, pipes, ect.) what works on one doesn't work on the other.

Even a rare Series 66 Aerodyne has various h.p. "max" outputs. A Series 66 w/ 2" trim will only make 250 h.p @ max boost, a 2.50" Trim size will make 275 h.p. max, and a 3" trim size will make around 360 h.p. We converted our Aerodyne Series 66 to the 3.00" trim size and it takes years of work and some dyno time to soak out that max h.p....but that 500 h.p. sled isn't even close,LOL!
