750 running in reverse.

going to look at a 93 750 for a good price...problem is that it is running in reverse. Im just wondering what can cause this.
 

All you have to do is switch the ignition wires. I'm guessing the grey wire and the orange wire got mixed up. Piece of cake!
 
thats what i thought guys...im just gonna have to tell the guy how to fix it. I have 2 93's already and id rather have him enjoy it then me have another one for a cheap price. I think its the best thing to do.
 
Running in reverse? you mean you can get the motor to spin in the opposite direction by swapping ignition wires??
if so a dpdt relay, a switch, a cut helix and presto reverse??
What about timming? maybe an aftermarket brain?
a guy i ride with added rev kit to his 600 pro x. Came with a double cut helix, a brain to handle the timming changes (oem) and a button to mount on the bar wired to the brain... that was it, took no time to install.

COULD IT BE DONE TO A V4?
