Are the 800's much faster than the 750's?

wide open, with a mile to stretch legs, we couldnt find much difference. I've raced all my vmaxes against each other, my '93 with some 800 pieces will run strong. The earlier years of the vmax-4's were lighter, a few less hp but still lighter and in places that make a difference. 750 cranks are lighter, jackshaft might be lighter(not sure should weigh them against each other), 750 gears and chain are lighter, and the drive axle is also(until 94). All of these are rotating mass, and factor much more into the equation than static mass. I am yet to try it, but I think the quickest setup could be a 750 with an 800 top-end. That way you get the benefit of the lighter 750 stuff and the extra displacement of the 800. In the end though it's necessary to have everything running in a straight, efficient line. I may be biased but I like my '93 the most, it's fast as heck, pretty quick and rides like a dream. Obviously not on rough trails, but it was never intended to be a mogul masher anyways. Long stretches of railbed, riverways, or lakes is where these babies make the smiles.

I have my 93 running now, a few more finishing touches and away we go, is there anyone making jabber pistons any more? I have 3 800 and now this 750, will tell unsoon , the 750 has bender twins
