i seem i can't find a listing for 92 vmax4 throttle cable and choke cable. look at royal dristrubuting and kimpex no listing. would it be the same cable as 94 vmax 600?
 

The part number for a '92 750 is different than the part number for the '93-'94 750, so I would assume that they might not be interchangable. I have a '92 cable, but don't have a '93 cable to do a side-by-side comparison.

could be a better cable or something. maybe we could do a picture comparison if someone has the 93 cable
 
for anyone that want's to know and for future info.throttle cable from 02-03 viper kimpex number 05-138-52,Yamaha 8EK-26311-00. It will work on a 92 vmax4 the only thing is this about 51/2" longer and you'll have to take the plastic around the nipple on the cable on the carb side . Next to that the cable comes out the same length as the oem one. cable from a 600 vmax will not work as the length of the cable that's coming out isn't long anof and the cables won't close all the way. thanks everyone for the help.
 
thats good to know, I plan on putting bar risers on my longtrack monster. That viper cable should be exactly what I need to make my throttle cable long enough to reach.
 
Somehow I missed this thread. I should have good used ones for a 92 if your interested. Value??? Dono. I'd be fair.
