Carb boring for 750

I was wondering what is the maximum diameter i could bore out my stock carbs before having to buy new ones.

i think the generaly rule is 1 -1.5mm or something like that but you realize that isnt always the best thing to do right?

What do you mean by that. Should i just spend the $$$$ and buy the 38`s right away.

I have seen the stock 33mm carbs bored to 36.5mm but they are like tin foil thin! Typical over-bore that most go to is 35.5mm.

Would you see a HP gain with that small of an increase. Would it be better to go directly with the 38`s flat slides. I am just scared to lose to much bottem end. You see i drag race 600 ft and i am missing a little more HP to take the 900 improved category. Right now i am dominating the 800 class.

Keep on dominating the 800 class....Don't fix what ain't broke..Build another v-max4 with a big bore..Then put 38 TMX's on it..

I am in the process of building another 93 vmax. It is just tempting to go and get that extra 1/2 lenght on 600 feet to clean up two classes with one machine. I am also in the process of purchasing a turbo Vmax.
