sherminator. Don,t know if this will help you with your question, but Shell gas stations Highest octane fuel, is supposed to contain NO ethanol in it. This I heard from a VERY knowledgeable member on this forum. Might be worth your while looking into, and I,m certain the octane level is up there. Hope this helps you out some...Rob.
 
if your looking at racing it would be a good idia to put some lead add to your fuel, or a little aviation fuel, witch is about 110 octain and is still a leaded fuel witch is great for a two stroke, the lead coats the bearings and cylinder walls, reduces friction and help to run a little cooler, also helps reduce pre detination. i run 50/50 91 no oxygenated pump and av gas
 
if the motor is not ported and you got more than 150 psi compression it's a good thing to think about a mix of gaz and race fuel it'all depend on the modification of the motor and head, squish etc etc ,,,in french pm me thanksss
 
You really need to know your compression ratio to determine what fuel you are gonna be using.
