Houghton Lake, Michigan trails

Here are a few recent pictures from the trails by Houghton Lake. My brother, me, and are two teenage boys. The old Vmax ran great. Put on about 95 miles and as I learned if I keep my finger off the throttle the 800 does go pretty far on a full tank even though I did get on it once in awhile. These trails were on the south end of the lake. We started at the Meredith staging area (big parking area) and went north on trail 655 towards the lake and wound up at Owens road staging area (big parking area, Prudenville) which is right by the lake. And from there we went part of the way to St.Helen. We had to turn around then because we lost are two 15 and 16 year old sons. Found them about 2 hours later, they were between us but they turned off at Houghton Lake and went to McDonalds. Well it gave me and my brother a chance to explore some other trails to look for them. All ended well. We never real worried because there were plenty of people around on sleds and once we found a spot where the cell phones worked we found them.
