One of the 3 in the package will work,Has same #s.I think its the light coil,I matched the #s last night.
I KNOW NOT THE PULSE COIL!

You need to get a stator plate assy from a 85 and later V-max 540. The aluminum on the 83 and 84 models were made to thin and cracked. I found this out on both my 83 and 84 V-max's back when they were almost new. I think i paid Yamaha almost $1000.00 to fix each sled because there was no used parts available back then. I am sure someone else out there had fun with this. Jeff Wurl
