PTO and Chain case oil the same?

Guys I cannot remember what I used last time I changed the above fluids.

I've searched everywhere and cannot find any info in regard to capacity/oil weight of the PTO. The manual shows the chain case as being 75 or 80 weight. It seems like I read at some point that they were the same.

What are you guys running in yours? Synthetic or what?

All keep looking but i seen somewhere 10 or 15w30 for pto

Ok just found it in the vx750s service manual on page 2-11 #75 or #85 or SAE#10W-30. I would put 10w-30 synthetic

Thanks marc. I guess I didn't look hard enough! I see it is on the same 2-11 page in the 800 manual as well.

No problem allseasonrider I had a hard time to find it. looks to be on the wrong page in the manual.
