Im looking for a max that is in good shape and runs well. looking to spend about 1000. thanks

Vickin... if you are looking for a VMax4 in "good shape" you looking at $1500-2000 Minimum.

i just thought since its out of season, people would be willing to let go for cheap. i guess ill have to shell out a bit more. thanks
 
I paid $950 for my 92 with 3200 miles, had to put another $500 in it for track bearings, new head gasket, new windshield, and other smaller misc.

I feel now I have a heck of a sled for $1500. But I could never get $1500 where I am located at because of the mild winters.
