600 triple V-Max Motor for Sale

I bought this motor for my 95 V-Max but ended up not needing it. Great motor! Make an offer. Would need to be shipped from Minnesota.
 
i doo believe that they did offer a 600 tripple,not 100% sure though,reason i am saying so is because i had a 98 vmax xtc with a 700 non power valve engine, and it had the same bottom end as a six hundred triple, i believe they came out in 97, could be wrong. besides im sure that there was also a snowmobile called an (SRX?) that also had a 600 triple so yamaha had more than one 600 triple before 2000. Anyway im sure someone else will chime in.
 
a friend of mine has a 98 Srx 600 triple..not sure if that was the first year they made them or not though...Mike
 
In the redhead engine, it wasn't available in the 600 size until 2000. They did have the 600 size available in the SRX in 98-99, but what this post is about is a redhead 600cc engine. If it in fact is a 98, and a triple, then it would have to be a 700cc redhead. If you look at the 600's in the Yamaha parts fiche, the 600's in 97-99 are twins EXCEPT for the SRX. Not trying to be a know it all, but it actually might be better for seller, as the engine would be newer than he thought.

I think they had a redhead tripple 600 in a 99 SXR. If it was a SRX, the heads would be blue unless someone painted the ole girl,,,like gold or sumthin,,,

What engine is it? Not sure after reading this post. Might be interested if its a non powervalved 600 or 700 engine.
