Thanks for all the help, on the fuel tank - I did get one.

Would anyone have an absolute junk fuel tank that would be ok to cut?
I want the filler neck area and about 6" around it to plastic weld to the top of a new apex tank in order to replace the screw cap neck with the old flip cap.
