Need 1/4 Mile asphalt Set up New to VMAX 4

I just bought a 1995 vmax 4 800. I will be running 1/4 mile asphalt.
I last run a 1999 ZRT 600 so I have track skid and skies.

I am looking for a starting place for the asphalt.

I am in Grand Junction Colorado 4600 ft. I am the only sled that runs and the crowd loves it.

as far as I know it is all stock with stock pipes.

Looking for help on
gear set up

jetting do I remove air box, I have never run one on my other race sleds.

clutch and secondary springs and weights

How do I lower front end

And any other things I need to change

I am just looking for a good place to start I am not asking for secret race setups.

I will also be looking for a set of pipes.

gear set up

Stock gears

jetting do I remove air box, I have never run one on my other race sleds.

Run with air boxes gutted, move vent tubes to handlebars. Start with stock mains and up the pilots. Try 50's with the needle all the way up.
Might be rich at that elevation but much safer to start high and go down

clutch and secondary springs and weights

Primary:Hauck blue 4500 rpm engagment, stock 8BU weights
Secondary: Yamaha silver 60*/70* twist. Make sure ramp buttons are new

How do I lower front end

Find a lowering kit or machine tubes and use external springs

And any other things I need to change

All these things will change depending on the pipes you buy.
