Yes that would be my sled. I put my back out wrestling the sled out of the garage and trying to start it. Don,t know if I am doing the right thing as I just want to ride and enjoy the time with my sons. Do you guys think I am out of line by the time someone chissels you. I don,t have the $$$ or the approval from my wife to just go out and buy a sled AND KEEP this one.

Nice to see another 4 brought back to life, but I hate to see you sell it after all that work. Have you even had a chance to ride it?

Thanks Glenn. I,m going no where as I too enjoy our chats and the rest of the guys on the forum. I was gifted with scholiosis of the spine and 2 discs that aren,t good, that I tend to irritate from time to time. Much in the same boat as Quadzilla, but in no way am I giving up on the sleds, just need to work around it. Anyone figured out how to intall E-start and retreat on the Vmax4,s yet?..lol...Rob.
p.s Glenn. I really need to see how the story ends on your build. That is incredable man, and I,m a little jelious now.
 
I just put mine up for sale to , but I have 2. Mine has 700 miles on it now and put it on kijiji thinking I don't need 2. Well I got the call tonight froma very good guy that would be a great owner and I backed out. Grrrr. He is willing o give me asking price and drive 8 hours. I have to decide keep my low mile one or sell the other one with 5500 km on it with a few nice changes, Hyd brake, riser , 1.5 track and precision skis. Love them bth but only need one
 
Getting close to a deal on another sled. I had to repost the add to word it better (talk slower if you will) so the stupid people could understand it. Very intertaining actually. I have had great trade offers including 1995 cHEV 3/4 TON SNOW PLOW TRUCK (but the cab corners are rotted out) another was a 1984 Honda Nighthawk 450 and some cash. After I explained things differently, I,m getting better replies. Some nice cash offers, and trade offers, but I am sticking to my guns with this one, or I will just keep it. Anyone ever figure out how to put e-start and reverse on the V-4,s for us older guys? If you have talk to me...lol...Rob
 
Well guys, she is sold and gone to a GOOD home. Guy is a collector and gave me my asking price as soon as he saw it. I will miss her but my age and body tells me differently. I will still hang around the site though. I,m hoping to look for the likes of a long tracked 2004ish RX1 Warrior or such. Think it will be a little more user friendly for me and can pick them up around these parts pretty resonable, and lots of parts available...Rob.
 
That Apex would be the perfect sled for you if your looking for reverse and electric start. The ride is unbelievable and easy on your body. Good luck!
 
Thanks guys for the heads up. As far as I know Rob, the fellow who bought it is not a member here, but has some really old vintage 4 cylinder sleds, and wanted this one for the collection aswell. Really nice fellow, and wasn,t a kid who would destroy it. Wasn,t going to sell it to a kid anyway!...Rob.
