parting out a 95

thought I would start a new thread for this. Just kicking around the idea of parting out my 95, some of the goodies incluse:
- PSI pipes, less than 100 miles on them, bought new from psi for $1000 a little over a year ago
- STRONG motor
- suspension bought from skinner, all powdercoated arms, shock springs, great shape
- everything is there, sled is running and if it cant be sold complete I will consider parting it out.
Post if you are interested in stuff and I'll start a list. Thanks

it does have extroverts, they are the original ones and I added the extrovert pieces to them. Make an offer

I bought the skid from Dave, he didnt fix it. I made some adjustments and put a new shock in it to make it work the way I needed it to.
 
I MIGHT RECONSIDER OUR TRADE TALKS IF THAT SLED GOES THE WAY YOU RACED IT HERE. TACH , WHEEL KIT, REED SPACERS STAY. UNTOUCHED. SLED IS WAY TO GOOD TO PARTS OUT. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Skid

Our stock skids are all set up the same way and they work GREAT just like I said out of the gate

dont get your feathers up I'm not trying to start any shit. It did'nt work for me on the grass and I had to make adjustments, no big deal. I dont doubt that it worked for you on the ice the way it came to me and it is a beautiful skid. The rear shock was blown when Tony saw me the first day and I had a spare one in good shape, I put it in, made some other changes and Bobs your uncle.

leave the wheel kits on the srx and you can have mine, reed spacers fine, tach already spoken for.

Take it from experiance dude..Don't do it...!!!! Don't part it out...You sound like your a little burnt out..Put a cover on it and put it in a corner of your garage....I had issue's too at one time and took a year off from V-Max 4's,now I'am back(just got the VDO working also :) ) take some time off and don't tuch it..
 
Sounds like jminor's in quite a pickle. Looks as though he has a very nice sled to sell thats worth some cash but no takers. Trys to offer up parts off of it that most guys are wanting but is being told it's to nice to break up. No offence to anyone but it seems kinda weird. I'm flat broke most of the time trying to pay to put three kids through college so I'm out on just about everything but if nobody wants the sled whole and he wants to sell what's he suppose to do plant flowers in it??

If it was a pig at the races or he hit a tree with it, rolled it at the drags, backed over it with the truck or sawed it in half with a sawsall he would have buyers coming out his ears for parts but because it's still in one nice piece he is being told to park it???

I say sell it, trade it, part it, park it, nail a mail box to it and put it at the end of the drive or whatever you decide to do it's yours jminor and your decision on what to do with it.

guys have another project in the works is the only reason for the partout, the sled runs real hard and there is nothing wrong with it, I just need to clear up some funds.
 
THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE. PRE - F-7 MUSCLE SLEDS ARE WORTHLESS. EVEN THIS AWSOME SLED. FIRST YEAR OF THE 800, THAT AWSOME 4 CYLINDER ENGINE, GREAT RUNNER THAT JOSH SET-UP IS BASISLY WORTHLESS. ONLY VMAX 4,s THAT ARE EVEN CLOSE ARE MAYBE THE 92, AND FOR SHURE A 97. JOSH WE SHOULD OF MADE THE TRADE LAST SATURDAY. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
correct....I paid $2300 canadian for my 95 with spare motor and skis and that was too much but cheapest I could find!

That $9,200 was the US price Tony. Here in Canada they were right around $13,000. My 95st with the 2" camoplast track, V-force reeds, Aaen quads, and a deluxe cover was well over $16,000 before it left the dealer in late 94. Some dealers wouldn't even order one in unless they had a buyer for it.
Can't understand the price differences myself. Our dollars are equal in value on the world market and my quad, a grizzly 700 is still $4,000 more here than in the US. Even parts for it are 1/2 price south of the boarder. Anyhow I digress, didn't mean to hijack the post.
