I'm thinking of maybe get hauck to port my 750 anyone ever get there 750 ported by them? He was the sled after the porting? Was it wort the money? Or should I save up for 880?

If I was gonna get port work done I would look into iantommasi, or mr. Viper from totallyamaha

I didn't deal with Iantommasi personally but I have some of his work and his porting is perfection, though I don't have any hp numbers yet. Hopefully by spring.

Hello, just thought I would let you know I have an 880 from Huack that I am interested in selling -- it is used but seems to be in good shape, would include everything or parts. Let me know if interested -- would sell clutches, complete motor with heads/cylinders off, carbs, carbon fiber reeds for around $1000. Let me know if interested. Thanks, Dave 612-987-1878

So far I have 800 pipe and some clutching but I'm planning on rebuilding the complete sled top to bottom

Hi Dave, I have just joined this forum. I am considering putting a Vmax engine in a sidecar to race in Europe. How much for a motor, complete with carbs?

Probably not going to get an answer. This thread is from 2013.

Shipping an engine to Scotland would be very expensive.

I agree with opsled. You're probably not going to get a lot of replies, but I like your thinking! I always thought it was a waste for my engine to sit most of the year, and toyed with the idea of putting it in a hydroplane for the Summer. I've been to some boat races where there was a hydroplane class with snowmobile engines, so I know it can be done.

This motor was posted as still available last week: http://www.vmax4.com/showthread.php...re-complete-motor-4-sale&highlight=motor+sale

This thread is from a few years ago. The listing was canceled, but it's not clear if the engine was sold or not: http://www.vmax4.com/showthread.php?32669-V-max-4-750-Big-bore-motor&highlight=motor+sale

Another older listing: http://www.vmax4.com/showthread.php?32773-Vmax-750-Engine-for-Sale&highlight=engine+sale

So what are you exactly looking for, what price range and how would you get it to Scotland?

Reason I ask is because if it's a lot of work for the seller they may not be so interested in it but if you have some of the logistics of shipping figured out it wouldn't be so bad.

I have a really nice 750 and all the parts needed to make it run that I really don't need but I also don't need to get rid of it. I also know of others that might be available.
