quad 800 psi's

have been talking to a fellow who has a set of quad psi's for sale. He says they were new at the beginning of this year told me $700. Also said he has a bunch of other parts including a brand new hood(96), don't know what else he has. Can't put my finger on his # at the moment but will post it soon.
 
I'd be interested in talking with him about the pipes. Seems a bit steep, but would still like to talk to him if you get the number.
 
That's not steep. I paid $750 for mine brand new 13 years ago. They're very hard to find, and if you don't buy them, I'll guarantee someone else will.

I PAID $ 709 FOR MINE IN APRIL OF 96. AND I HAVE KNOW,IN BRUCE FOR YEARS. BEST PIPE MADE FOR THE VMAX 4 IN THE 8600 - 9000 RANGE. THEIR GOLD. YOU GUYS KNOW THE PROBLEM WITH THESE PIPES. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
Hey silver there is a guy over in stayner with a complete running 96 800 motor...still in the sled....clutches are gone and also has a set of mint psi's for $500 and the motor is $600, hear it run....very nice.....just deciding if I wanna driop the coin. then I will just need to find some rollerr for the 2 quad piped 800 mills???

sorry it took me so long, It looks like me and srv are talking about the same guy, and I seen advertised at $500, his name is Lloyd, 705-428-3828.
Don't get any ideas on the engine that's mine.

SRV have you seen or heard the engine yourself. He says it broke the pto shaft but all else is good?
 
Yep thought I might as well keep it, had no interest on it. This seems to be a reasonable deal as long as top end is healthy. Is it someone you know since youre in that area?
 
Spoke with him today. Told me $600 for the pipes. Did he have them listed somewhere for $500? Shipping may break the bank. Told him I wanted them depending on shipping. Waiting to hear back. Thanks for the contact silver92.:rockon:

the engine and pipes are sold, made a deal with him though and offered to post some of his other parts, will post a list shortly
