WTB Quad pipes

The set of howlers I was referring to are his custom 10600 rpm pipes and trust me his custom aaens are not a kinky bent pipe.. These are custom built race pipes!!! Both of these pipes require extensive engine work and ignitions!!!!

I totally agree with you. In fact I have a couple of his books. Very intelligent man.
I think everyone is misunderstanding what I'm trying to say, so I will try again. Maybe I am wrong and someone can correct me.
All that I was trying to say is the Aaen pipes are very kinky on the bends. (most likely due to production costs) Yes good pipe, from what I have read. To me there is nothing more beautiful than sleek set of hand rolled pipes all welded together like a nice smooth snake. I can appreciate it because I have built some before, and let me tell you its a lot of fab work and you still have to design it before hand then if possible dyno.
Are the howlers based on the Aaen design? Am I missing something here?
Maybe someone can educate me on v-max 4 pipes?

Dan, the howlers are on my improver and they had some modifications done (different than an off the shelf howler). They were built new by Pat Hauck. That is why we spin them at 10600 instead of 10200 which is a standard howler. The pipes that I have on my mod were built down at Olav's and I worked with him to build those pipes specific to my open mod.
Those pipes are spinning right about 11800 r's. Gonna have to pay royalties if you want a set of those..........LOL
