I have a 92 750 with psi quad pipes, minor cylinder porting and boyseen reeds, the issue i am having is the snowmobile bogs from a dead stop to wide open throttle. It originally had 55 pilots in it so I went down to 50 with the same issue and i am now down to 47.5's with it not getting any better. I feel it acts rich yet due to the spitting and sputtering and then taking off. Ive also messed with the fuel screw on each pilot size to no avail. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Start by checking the most basic and essential thing first - the crank phasing. More than once a suspected jetting problem and / or suspected ignition problem turned out to be a crank out of phase. Start by checking this, just to get the basics sorted and covered before you tear into the carbs.

I am sure the simple procedure is described somewhere on here.

Hello, and welcome to the site!

Without knowing your history with your '92 and what you have/haven't looked at, I'm just going to throw some stuff out there:

Here's a link to a post from a couple of years ago that might get you started:
Click inside the box and the post will open so you can see the whole thing.

I haven't found the link to download the service manual, but we're working on it. Pay attention to the reference to the white tabs that are in the airboxes. They have killed many Vmax-4's. There is a Search box at the top of each page of the forum. Type in white tabs and you will find a lot of information on that problem.

Check out our tech page. Since your '92 was the first year of the Vmax-4, there were technical bulletins specific to the '92's that you can find there. I put the paperwork I got with my PSI pipes in the tech section. Look at the .pdf at the bottom of that post, it's easier to read. Also, cleaning the needle valve filter that is not covered in the carb cleaning writeup. There's a lot of good information in the tech section.

Post back here and let us know if you're making any progress. There are other things we can look at.
