Somebody steal this vmax!


It's looks a 94 going buy body panels and decals on side of tunnel. Needs some work.
 
I'm just lookin at that track. Might have set for a while but its still got a lotta lug. I would have everything I need to make it a runner.......except the cash to buy it.
 
See. Here is another classic example of Canada don,t have SH---T. Looking at that sled, I could have finished my build, and had chunks left over. GRRRRRRRR...Rob.
 
its a 750 i called the guy and had him look at the heads and he said that it has 750 on them..
 
That's pretty cheap....and I'm stuck in Florida for a company meeting/family vacation....LOL.....but I wish it would have come up after I returned home because I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the offer Mike. It would add about 2 hours to your road trip though. Just glad to see someone who will use it pick it up. If you really feel guilty you can mail me the lower end and 1 Piston/Jug/Head. LOL! Ive got every part to complete that sled!:nice:

No I can't..... the guy sold it out from under me LOL Two phone conversations, a verbal hand shake and a promise to call this AM to arrange pick up.

I call promptly at 8 and he say's I sold it last night, WTF?? Alarming how LITTLE value some men place in thier word. Am I just that backwards that I still think that is susposed to mean something? Good news is I'm not all that young a man and I'll probably die B4 the world goes the reast of the way to HELL!!! :)

So no hard feelings was it one of you boys that stole her way? If so good on ya it was a great deal!
 
Reminds me of the '97 I was gonna buy. Talked to the guy multiple times, had an agreement made, called him the morning I was supposed to leave for my 16 or 18 hour trip and nothing. Tried several times to reach him and no response. BTW sending money order out today for that skid.

I got it about half boxed up, and plan to ship tomorrow or Monday.... How's that for old school I'll send it to ya when the check is still in the mail.... LOL

I figured if someone wants to screw me over, they'd have to live with themselves and the karma. BTW I know you never do that :)

Sorry to hear that. I have had the same experience with an old km 100 dirtbike. I talked to the guy and agreed to p/u the next day after work, got to his house and he comes out and tells me he sold it to a buddy. The best part is he couldnt understand why I was irritated about it.....:bash1: Craigslist is FULL of people like that.
 
its also full of people that say they are an their way and never show up,been there done that.If people dont come by a specific time or at least call i move on to the next person. But in your case I would be PO"d too
 
So instead of driving 10 hours round trip to pick up a sled that was mising the rear suspension, and need the engine rebuilt along with a cylinder. I get a heads up email about this one that is 45 minutes from home. All it needed was a good cleaning Y-Pipes, and a snow flap :)
