I just read the rules for the this race. It is a total ameature race. It seem's pull your sled out of the garage, out of the shed or from under the wood pile and race the thing.

If your somewhat prepared you make the final.

If I race with my chisel track I have to run open mod. How crazy is that. Some guy has a 400+ wack sled, I will have to run against. Totally the thing might be fun, if he goes out of his lane or blows up. Can't believe there is anyboby in that class.

If I'm wrong please advise!!!

Fudge that, Josh I'll put my ripsaw back on. I don't think we will have any problem going head to head. Hell we'll probably finish 1-2.

Dan why do you think I kept the trail studs in? These events that are'nt sanctioned should be a "run what you brung" format. That should include chisels. As for what I saw of your sled w the ripsaw I don't think you have any worries with your sled no matter what track you put under it.

OK, Blue spring, 8BU-00, tons of twist, stock pipes, 132.5 MJ, race fuel, 20/40 gears, garden spray can, NEW rear shock from SKINNER (under warranty) one used rack and and a cooler of Pepsi or Beer = one fast MF-Race Team.

I'll be there but I'll have my own stock set-up or cooler!!!!

These races are what they should be for the amateur. But us guy's that know a little more then most will always win.

All I have to do to beat a stock vmax4 or similar sled in 500' is: drop my gearing by a couple teeth and/or drop a couple jet sizes. Drag Racing 101.

Chisels seem to be a big deal. Slow sled's can run chisel and still not win. I've run them and and yes they help, BUT you have to have some motor. Or maybe it's insurance? ????? Outlaw is the best racing and it's up and coming. What avid sledder doesn't have a cheat part somewhere, beside his girlfriend or thinner Lover driving his sled on the weekend.

Just like Tony recruiting Mark to Drive?? WTF Mark are U cheating on me.
